Anchor+ Quit Sugar privacy policy

The short version

Anchor does not require an account. It does not include ads, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking. Your reset information and any optional journal stay on your iPhone. Anchor does not send them to AuraBridge Systems.

Information kept on your device

To make Anchor work, the app may keep the following information locally on your iPhone:

• Your personal Why, reset rules, and named reminder hours
• Day reflections, check-ins, and any notes you choose to add after a slip or Rescue
• Optional journal entries and photos you choose to capture
• Notification, Live Activity, and other app preferences
• Local purchase-entitlement information used to show the features available to you

AuraBridge Systems does not receive this app data as part of Anchor's normal operation.

Optional journal photos

Anchor asks for camera access only after you choose to add a photo. It uses the front still camera for that capture and does not request microphone or Photos-library access for this feature. The app does not use face recognition or analyze a photo for health, appearance, or treatment claims.

When you choose Use photo, Anchor makes a reduced private JPEG copy for your journal and removes image metadata such as location. The full journal photo is stored in Anchor's private app storage; it is not available to other apps unless you choose to export or share it. Journal photos and private notes are not used in Anchor's notifications or Live Activity.

Backups, exports, and sharing

Your device's backup settings may include your saved journal records and full journal photos. Anchor provides no server copy or Anchor-to-Anchor cloud sync. Regenerable thumbnails and temporary export files are excluded from device backup.

You choose whether an export includes private notes or photos and where to send it with the iOS share sheet. Once you deliberately share an export, the receiving app or service's privacy practices apply to its copy. Deleting data in Anchor cannot remove a copy kept in an existing device backup or already sent to another destination.

No tracking or advertising

The Anchor app does not use advertising identifiers, third-party analytics SDKs, behavioral advertising, or cross-app tracking. We do not sell or share your Anchor app data for advertising.

Apple purchases

Optional Anchor+ purchases are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. The app uses StoreKit to determine access. Apple handles payment information and purchase management; we do not receive your payment-card number.

Notifications and the Lock Screen

If you enable them, Anchor schedules reminders locally for the support times you choose. It can start a Lock Screen cue only when you open Anchor from 15 minutes before through 75 minutes after a selected time, and it ends the next time you open Anchor outside that period. iOS may limit or end the cue, and does not guarantee reminder delivery. You can change these permissions in Anchor or in iOS Settings.

Support email

If you contact us, we receive the email address and the information you choose to include so we can respond. Please do not send sensitive health information. Support correspondence is separate from the information stored in the app.

Your choices

You can turn off notifications and Live Activities in iOS Settings. In Anchor, you can delete selected journal dates and photos or delete personal history; deleting the app also removes its local app data. A device backup or a deliberately shared export may keep a separate copy under its own retention settings. If you have a privacy question, email hello@aurabridgesystems.in.

Children

Anchor is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the app if you are below the minimum age required to use this type of app where you live.

Changes to this policy

If Anchor's data practices change, we will update this policy and, where applicable, the App Store privacy information.
