Vistaro Privacy Policy

Vistaro is a paid Mac App Store app for fast, borderless folder image and video viewing. Files stay local on your Mac. No account is required for core use. This policy describes what data is (and is not) collected when you use the Vistaro app.

Data we collect
From the Vistaro application: none. Vistaro does not include analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, account login, or remote telemetry.
Via the App Store (Apple): if you purchase Vistaro or download updates, Apple processes transaction and device information needed to sell, deliver, and improve App Store products. We may receive anonymized or aggregated sales and crash information from Apple App Store Connect solely to improve the app (for example, crash logs you opt in to share with developers through Apple).
Local files and media
Media you open with Vistaro remains on your device. Vistaro does not transmit your image or video files to AuraBridge Systems. If you export, share, or open files with other apps, those actions are under your control and may be governed by those other apps or services.
Data stored only on your device
Vistaro may store local preferences on your Mac (for example last opened folder bookmarks, autoplay interval, video playback speed, starred file paths, and Library recents). This data remains in your user Application Support folder and is not transmitted by Vistaro to AuraBridge Systems.
Analytics and third parties
The Vistaro app itself does not embed third-party analytics or advertising networks. Distribution, payment, and optional crash reporting flow through Apple. Review Apple’s privacy policy for App Store processing.
Permissions
Vistaro accesses the image and video folders and files that you select (Open dialog or Open With from Finder). It does not require microphone, camera, contacts, location, or full disk access.
Payments and updates
Vistaro is offered as a one-time purchase on the Mac App Store with free updates through Apple. We do not process credit cards ourselves. All billing is between you and Apple.
Children
Vistaro does not target children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children’s data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of Vistaro after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
